Warm Fuels deliver to most areas in the UK. Delivery to the Northwest Area area will be done on one of our own vehicles, delivery outside of these areas will be delivered by Pallex.
On our website, you can order any product, in whatever quantities that you like. Once your order has been processed, the team at Warm Fuels will build your customised pallet, with the products in the quantities that you ordered.
Post codes L and WA have a minimum spend of £50 for free delivery on all products, under £50 is a £10 charge.
Post codes PR, M, HD, BB, BD, CH, CW, LL with an under £250 spend have a delivery charge of £15. Orders of over £250 have a delivery charge of £10.
For every other postcode apart from PO30-41 we cover £15 of the delivery costs.
PO30-41 has a surcharge of £60.
We aim to deliver to you as quickly as possible. However, during the winter period, please allow for a 3 – 7 day delivery period to avoid disappointment. You will be notified of a delivery date once you have placed your order. In the unusual event that your delivery date needs to be changed, you will be informed promptly. You can expect your delivery between 9:00 – 18:00. With this, please note that we cannot give you a time to expect your delivery. If you call us on the morning of your delivery, we can give you an estimated time frame.
It is not necessary that you are home when we deliver, and if that is the case, you must advise us accordingly as to where to leave the product. We cannot be held responsible in the event of any loss or damage if you instruct us to leave the goods in your absence. We will endeavour to deliver the goods where instructed, please note, heavy items such as crates of logs and bulk bags will be offloaded via a crane and will be left adjacent to the vehicle.
As a general rule, all of our deliveries will be made by the roadside. However, if we can make the delivery easier for you by dropping the goods in a specific place on your land, we will try our best to accommodate. If we bring our vehicle onto your property, as per your instruction, we cannot be held liable for any damage.
If you live in an area with difficult access, you need to inform us prior to your delivery date so we can ensure to use the right transportation. If any of the below refers to your delivery address, please inform us:
- Narrow lanes
- Steep driveway
- Limited parking/ offloading area
- If you require a pallet truck, please be aware, this cannot be used on grass, slopes or gravel.
If you place an order with us through our e-commerce website and the delivery is outside of our catchment area of Northwest, a courier service will be used to deliver the products to you. Upon checkout, you will be advised of any delivery costs that will be applicable. A typical delivery time period is 3 – 7 working days.
Once you have added your postcode to the checkout page, you will be given a delivery cost for your order.
When you place your order, we will arrange for the products to be picked up by Pallex. We will then pass on your contact details to Pallex, who will contact you directly to discuss delivery.
Pallex will deliver the products to you using a heavy goods vehicle, and only offer kerbside delivery. The products will be delivered to you on a pallet, and a pallet truck will be used to drop the delivery. Pallex may not be able to deliver to your address if you live on a steep hill, have restricted access or the pallet needs to be moved across an uneven surface (grass, gravel, cobbles etc).
It is at the discretion of the delivery driver as to whether they will place your order in a certain place. If you arrange delivery with the company and are not able to accept the order due to difficult access, or if there is nobody at home to sign for the order, you will receive a re delivery charge.
Warm Fuels will endeavour to make your delivery service as smooth as possible, however, we are not able to take responsibility for any problems that could arise through Pallex.
